Our Philosophy on Titles …it is possible in some cultures to be too forward, and even presumptuous, in exchanging names with people, because our name symbolizes our personal and private identity. Vincent Donovan discovered this when he was working among the Masai in Tanzania. At first, he has written, ‘ I quite naturally acted out of my American background, and saw nothing wrong in telling them my name and asking theirs.’ He was adviced however, that the Masai regarded this as very rude. In public and with strangers they used titles and designations, not names. One day a Masai man said to him:"Do not throw my name about. My name is important. My name is me. My name is for my friends.’ So, when Vincent Donovan moved to a new area, he adopted the custom of not knowing or disclosing each other’s names. Then after working among them for a long period of time, and, perhaps as a parting gift to me, one of the elders told me his name, and I told him mine. I was flattered at the exchange. "My name is for my friends".It would be good in the west too, I think, to cultivate something of this respect for persons and their names. (John Stott, The Contemporary Christian, pp 282,283 IVP) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>0>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Following our Church Charter status with the United Fellowship of Christ Ministries Int’l in New Jersey, USA; as an Independent Apostolic Ministry with such privileges as follows:
For the reasons listed above we chose the Apostolic Ministry which has the Apostle as the Chief Executive Officer and his overseers as Bishops and Archbishops respectively, with a touch of the Reformed Episcopal doctrine and belief also with this New Testament belief that; God has Set some in the Church, First the Apostle while the others follow next. We magnify our calling and ministry because no one will do it for you. We also believe in the celebration of our Potentials with those who respect the grace and calling of God upon our lives. We go to only where God sends us and knows that we will be honored by His own fresh oil upon our heads. We are not ashamed or afraid of man because the Hand of God is upon our head. Not just the hands of mere mortal man. God has defended His work by so many signs and wonders displayed through us by His mighty Hand upon us. Man may fail you but God will not and will never fail us. We are ministers of God before the ministers of men. Our relationship with other ministries further strengthens the legitimacy of our ministry. Like Yeshua Int’l in UK, Yeshua Embassy Network of Churches Int’l in USA, International Branch of the Lion of Judah, USA, Fires of Israel, USA, Keys to the Kingdom, USA, New Horizon Ministry, USA, many others too numerous to mention. Having all faith in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord, Christ Jesus; that there is but one true Church in the Body of Christ of which the Lord Jesus is the head; that we, His servant, fit jointly together for the service of His continuing ministry. That His true Church is without divisions of any kind. We declare our belief in the normative decrees of the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the undivided Church: The Council of Nicaea in 325 AD, Constantinople in 381 AD, Ephesus in 431 AD, Chalcedon in 451 AD, Constantinople II in 553 AD, Constantinople III in 680 AD and Nicaea II in 787 AD. We declare our belief in Vatican Council II, Decree on Ecumenism(Unitatis Redintegratio,21 November, 1964)page 452,which states that: "The restoration of unity among all Christians is one of the principal concerns of the Second Vatican Council. Christ the Lord founded one Church and one Church only. However, many Christian communions present themselves to men as the true inheritors of Jesus Christ; all indeed profess to be the followers of the Lord but they differ in mind and go their different ways, as if Christ himself were divided. Certainly, such division openly contradicts the will of Christ, scandalizes the world, and damages that most holy cause, the preaching of the Gospel to every creature." It further states in page 470 that: " This sacred Council firmly hopes that the initiatives of the sons of the Catholic Church, joined with those of the separated brethren, will go forward, without obstructing the ways of divine Providence, and without prejudging the future inspirations of the Holy Spirit. Further, this Council declares that it realizes that this holy objective – the reconciliation of all Christians in the unity of the one and only Church of Christ – transcends human powers and gifts. It therefore places its hope entirely in the prayer of Christ for the Church, in the love of the Father for us, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. ‘ And hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us’ (Romans 5:5)." We declare our belief in four structure of our Lord’s Prayer for His body in John 17 i.e. Truth, Holiness, Missions, and Unity. The effectiveness of Ecumenism cannot be better understood without a full description of the Typology of the Tabernacle of Moses and David and what it stands for in both the Church age and the Kingdom Come age. That, understanding the functions of every material, spices, incense, and Artistic impressions served as a type of the Glory of the People of God in the close of the age. And the Temple described in Ezekiel plays a very important part posing as a puzzle that can best be solved only when the Church synergize in order to pursue the fulfillment of one of the biggest prophecies in the history of the world. When the Church and the Jews will re-gather to become one in Doctrine, Heritage and Tradition. That God will fulfill the prophecy of Daniel 2:44 is our belief in whatever capacity and magnitude whether within or beyond our understanding is best kept for God to reveal to us at this material time in history, through the Holy Spirit’s divine administration of both spiritual and Ministry gifts; feeding, Breeding and Leading His Church. Beyond paper qualification to the endowment with power from on high for fulfilling a higher calling. We declare our belief in the fact that the God that called St. Anthony of Padua (A trained Augustinian Priest) also drafted St. Francis of Assisi (An untrained minister of the Gospel of our Lord) to accomplish His task in His own way NOT their own way, As such God’s work must be done God’s way to get His approval with signs and wonders following the commission given to them. We declare our belief that only a fearless Church can save a scared world. *********************************************** F.A.C.T.S. of life F- aithfulness : 2Thess. 1:11; 3:3; 5:24; James 1:12, Ps. 31:23A-vailability: Titus 3:8, Is. 50:5, Rom. 12:1; Heb 13:16; Heb 6:10,11, 2Thess. 3:7- 9,13 C-ommitment: I Tim. 4:10; 4:15,16 T- eachability: I Tim. 6:3-5, 2 Tim 2:2, I Thess 2:13, Ps. 32:8,9 S- ubmission: James 1:20; 4:7
9 Ways to Overcome Opposition
7 Ways to complete unfinished tasks
Quote: Don’t let the pessimists deter you. If you really want to do something, you should go out and make it happen, not because the market needs another product, but because you are determined to make it happen!!! If you can make it work now. You’ll be laughing when some confidence returns to the economy. I read in an American article that successful businesses ’tend to be counter-cyclical’, meaning they go against the grain. May be that’s true. –Anon
Our Stand Our stand and philosophy on Holy Orders: we believe in the strict contents in the Canon Law of the Independent Catholic Union, USA on Holy Orders, That "it was and shall be unlawful for any member of the episcopacy of the ICU to offer, confer, or celebrate the sacrament of Holy Orders for any candidate to Holy Orders in exchange for any donation or tithe, no matter what form the donation or tithe may take. That is to say money, goods, valuables or services, or any other article. Likewise, it shall be unlawful for any member of the Episcopacy of the ICU to offer for the above mentioned consideration(s) elevation to the Episcopacy to any candidate eligible and approved for the same. Violation of this is Simony and will not be tolerated, accepted or condoned in any manner. This in and of itself may result in the immediate revocation, nullification and termination of any association or affiliation with the ICU…"(Canon 11)But over the years we have come to discover that what you don’t value you don’t attract as such we had to place value on the credentials to make people value what we are doing and ward off those that would have trifled with our papers. I have seen in more than two cases where candidates to Holy Orders who were consecrated as Bishops and Archbishops desecrated this Holy Calling by discarding the Papers they were given FREE. As such I will not like to see such an incident again at least not in our Ministry. By the way such monies and donation have been of tremendous help in alleviating lots of ministry needs. The stationeries are bought with hard earned monies so also the design, printing and calligraphic writing on the Credentials. If you will want beautiful and respectable Credentials the monies will definitely come from the Candidates. That does not mean there are no criteria used for appointing candidates into Holy Orders. It is true that gifts most at times blinds good judgment. But that will not stop us from receiving donations and even tasking such candidates in order to see if they can defend such honor/calling expensively bestowed on them. While Simon was greedy for power to do the supernatural as an extension of his magical acts such quests must definitely be rebuked. That will rather make us put a serious check on those that are seeking to be elevated into Holy Orders.I know so many people who still hide their cherished certificate under their boxes. United Fellowship of Christ would say on Ordinations that Donations are accepted but not expected. I leave it at the discretion of such candidates for Holy Order. No good donations no good papers. If Episcopal signet-rings are costing around $3000.00 and the legitimate papers just some paltry sum of money, there is a great need for ORDER. It is TRUE that man cannot BUY his way into Holy Orders it is a priceless office. We endeavor to make sure that none of our cherished papers are turned into tissue papers but valid papers, considering all the cost we put into packaging the Legal documents. Had it been we have people with the philosophy of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Anthony of Padua; who will need donations from candidates? considering the fact that there will be enough to take care of everything, but in a situation where we have stingy members of the parsonage, candidates will definitely have to take care of their ceremonies. I didn’t pay any dime for any of my papers because it was taken care of by my mentoring ministry. But now that I am Independent of UFCMI the monies must definitely come from YOU, I MEAN YOU!!!That is interested in our papers. Now, we are not in any way accountable to the ICU but use their Canon Law as a guide for most of what we are doing in Ministry, Most especially the Ecumenical Structure and Professional conduct of the Clergy.God bless you as we endeavor to ‘Occupy till He Comes’. Amen + Dr. Genesis A. Dawuda
