My Story
The story of my life can be summed up into that of miracles and signs and wonders. My Christian commitment started in 1988 with the Fellowship of Christian Students in Wukari Taraba State carved out of former Gongola state in Nigeria. I was at Government Day Secondary School. Wukari. I got committed to the FCS and the Witnessing group in town, I later made more commitment by joining the Drama ministry of the Witnessing Group in Wukari. All these was joined with my being elected as vice-president of the FCS where I enjoyed a rapid growth in the things of God. I was eager to be filled with Holy Spirit. After group prayers nothing happened, others got baptized in the Holy Ghost except me, I didn't find it funny at all. After the prayer meeting I took out time at home and made some quality commitment in prayer. Then suddenly I got a premonition to say something I had never said said before. Then by faith I opened my mouth and suddenly I started speaking in an unknown tongue.
There was this incident that happened which I will never forget. That is, after my conversion someone gave a testimony that he had an encounter with Jesus and that encounter changed his life. So I kept wondering how can I have such kind of dramatic encounter; I took on a fast, dry fast for that matter, I grew so lean. I lost so much wait and guess what? I didn't see nothing! rather, I put on a diet in order to help me regain my shine. I was put on protein-based diet. But when I was not expecting such an encounter after so many years. I had a very dramatic one, such that it's so sacred to talk about. I was taught lots of things by Christ. You see it's not by your effort that Yahweh opens the veil for you to see Him. Just keep doing your service as it comes naturally and Yahweh will visit you in His time not yours. Yahweh is my tutelary Deity. He teaches me and shows me events to come. Like Paul there are things that are unlawful for me to write about.
At the Witnessing Group every Sunday evenings we go out for witnessing and every quarter we find ourselves in one village or the other for outreach. God was faithful. In my family Church The Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN) I got myself committed to the Youth Fellowship and other commitment to the English Section of the Sunday Service.
My desire for growth in when back to Jos with my parents (they Worshipped with COCIN) in Jos and COCIN in Taraba (All are SUM churches) got me into a commitment with the Evangelical Churches of West Africa (ECWA) now Evangelical Churches Winning All. After listening to some tapes teaching of the Late Rev. Dr. Philip Paul Mokungah, presiding pastor of the Oasis of Love Church after an invitation by Rev. Nuhu Tende and Pastor Joshua Tende(cousins) then all brothers in the Lord.
Whenever I'm in Jos on vacation I visited Oasis of Love Church Jos, There I learnt so much about Biblical truth and Christian character. Rev. Mokungah was really a man of Love. The atmosphere of worship was deep and awesome. This comes after one full hour of prayer before the services begins whether Sunday service or the weekdays service. Every midweek service was like a revival program, deep, intuitive and inspirational. From township Primary School we moved to Zaria Road and from there to Former Base Supreme night Club, Now they are on their on property after I 'd left for higher assignment First with the United Fellowship of Christ Ministries International in New Jersey USA, and Yeshua Embassy Network of Churches Inc Philadelphia USA.
After my Secondary School Life, I gained admission into the Federal University of Technology Yola to study Chemistry, but had to remedy my papers and got posted to read Urban and regional Planning. While studying in the university I got involved with Winans Klub pastored by Christabel Onuoha assisting in the best way that I could then. My stay on campus was brief as I left with a passion for more of missions and channelled my creativity into setting up a studio and later got myself started in Multimedia Website Design.
My commitment with UFCMI started with an introduction by Collins Nwaya after seeing my commitment in the art department of the Oasis of Love Church. Meanwhile I'd been praying for an open door, I could remember sowing a see of a dollar in the Church some years ago trusting God for an open door. And then the open door came I was Ordained by United Fellowship of Christ under the pastoral oversight of Revs. Shoshanna Kay Harrington and Michael J. Ray in January 14th 2004 after a life experience examination. Was later appointed an Administrator in Nigeria with Collins as the Director. UFCMI was a Self-supporting, Self-governing and self propagating Ministry, there was no such thing as foreign support coming from nowhere. From the onset, I filled the Church-Charter of UFCMI for an Independent status. I had been running Club 15:12 under it and later I started running the Centre For World Rebirth. Later I found out that Pastors Sho and Mike were ordained by a very large ministry with no less than 4573 in their secured database. That ministry is known as United Christian Ministries International in Albion Indiana. I found out that Shoshanna Kay Harrington's Id no. is 3058 and Michael Ray's Id No. is 3063. I'm glad to be a part of this large network. I mean I'm proud to be part of this ministry!!!
From there I met Apostle William Zook of FLAME (Fly Like A Mighty Eagle) and had been blessed by this man of God with lots of teaching materials. I later got to know Gary Larrabee from Spokane Washington, he runs the International Branch of the Lion of Judah, a wonderful prophetic ministry, one thing I learnt from Gary is his constant usage of the sentence, "This is the statement of my present understanding."
From here I got to know Archbishop Dr. Peter Edwards in UK primate of Yeshua International and entered an Inter-communion agreement with them. From there I got to know Archbishop Richard Ngozi Innocent patriarch of the Yeshua Embassy Network of Churches Inc USA (Africa Chapter) where was also credentialed with another ordination papers and honored with a Doctorate of Divinity Degree of the Zoe Life Theological College in Philadelphia USA, the ceremony took place in Lagos (the Liaison office). Yeshua Embassy Network of Churches Inc and Zoe Life Theological College are founded by the Patriarch and Archbishop Dr. Ambrose Joseph Milner PhD.
An interesting story here is that when I started online I was hosted by Both UFCMI, Ourchurch.com and YENOCI but today I'm a webmaster and I'm the last man standing. UFCMI and YENOCI website have all packed, but my site is still growing and thriving. As of the last Alexa.com ranking, www.drgenesis.com website is ranking 163,000 online out of millions of unrated website out there. Talk about a global village! Here we are!! Now people looking for these mentors of mine use my website as the last resort.
I still get myself involved with local churches around while making efforts to start another local Church again after closing it down for health reasons. I still have it in mind to study some more for relevance and influence. In the course of my research online I've written some unpublished works. Among which are Ecumenism, Nuggets, and Poems.
God has used my ministry to affect lives and difficult situations in the lives of people one of recent is a man that had committed a better part of his life in the practice of mysticism and traditional soothsayers for powers, wealth and protection but by the power of God he has given-up everything and now faces God alone. He has been delivered from the power of darkness. God has used me to accommodate many people that had no houses, even a couple that lost their house, job and tailoring shop, God used this ministry to restore the life of a pastor back into the service of God after a traumatizing experience in the mission field.
My connection with the Philipinos that came to Nigeria has revealed a tremendous asset that one has. Not just them but also other ministers that God has linked me with. God made me to understand whatever you are today is a function of His grace not the abundance of your knowledge or wisdom. I've counseled with some of them and compared notes and found out that God has designed me to astound the great. My material on Ecumenism attests to that.
There are lost of challenges but God has been faithful to us all. He has been able to elevate me and my work to the glory of his name. The issue of helping others build a united front in pursuant of the Biblical mandate of an undivided ecclesia has not been easy but God has been faithful. The fact that I know more people in my life and ministry that I've not not ten years back shows that the next ten years of my life will be richer than the past years by His grace.
My first trip to Lagos has been that of absolute faith in God, going to see or meet somebody you have not known and going their with few resources and even locating the ministry was a testimony of God's faithfulness, my second trip was also a testimony of His grace as God opened a financial door that I was able to return to my base. God provided me with an office facility that I'm using today to the glory of His name. He has connected me with an Internet Website Hosting Company as a Reseller of hosting accounts. All these I give God the glory.
In the Film Industry
In 2002 my art and design coupled with my drama experience brought me into the corridors of Nigeria Film Corporation entry festival film sponsored by UNESCO and KODAK. I served as acting Props Manager to Mr. Albert Odulate. Who doubled both as Props Manager and Location Manager in the Celluloid-based Film Production Titled "Zenani" With Mr. Adesanya as the Producer, also presently serving as the MD of Nigeria Film Corporation. For whatever reason my boss was fired and I had to take over his position as the Props Manager. This was seen by many as the wonderful act of God. I had to enter a new contract with the Production Manager and guess what? That attracted extra pay. We spent Four weeks on camp. Wow! I worked my heart out. Since then no more props jobs unless the fee is VERY attractive. We nearly got linched because of poor pre-production planning. I later learnt so much from on film, sound and pre-production and lots more from Ron Dexter who has put in about 20 good years in Hollywood film production. Talk about God working with one I saw it. I worked with Mr. Dejumo Lewis (Kabiyesi of the Village Headmaster Fame), Yemi (Suwara-Toyin Tomato of the Super Story Fame) just to mention a few. I'll add pictures soon. When we called it wrap, the Production Manager Lifted me up into the Sky for Joy. I learnt so much from Wasiu and Biodun (Gaffers) what they did wonderfully with lighting. Uche, Bankole Bello (former DOP) and assistant Director's constant debate on being British trained and the other American Trained opened my eyes into so many things. The British is rigid (The home of the Arts) while the American is innovative (Hollywood you know!) I wonder why NFC doesn't do lots of film productions with all those gadgets. It's always NollyWood and Kannywood which Sadiq criticized by saying what is Woody about Holly cannot about Nolly. So Nolly should look for a better name that suits them.
Yeah! If you need a Make-Up artist look for Chinwe. She's good and has a sweet personality, I helped her to get some maggots. Did i hear you shout maggots? yeah maggots. She made-up character's wounds; it looked like real man! it was so real. Sooooo reeeaaal. She's gooood.

I started editing as a hobby while exploring video for the web and i'm still learning applying all those Chroma key stuff and lots more.
Today!
I'm seriously in ministry. Pioneer ministry, both learning and teaching what Yahweh teaches through His Ruach (spirit). I can tell you that the Church needs to do serious U-turn in order to fulfill the mandate of Yahweh. I'm into Nazarene Judaism. What you call Christianity! Teaching the ways of Yahweh and learning the Ways of Yahweh too, daily! His Millenium will be built, the Nazarene Way. Any other way is secondary and false.Even the Rabbinic Judaism don't know what to expect when the next Temple will be patterned after Ezekiel 40-48. Today, I'm together with Two House United Synagogue Delaware, Ohio USA. And still running my ministry Centre For World Rebirth. I write materials that relates to National destiny and global destiny. Some sounds funny and unreal when I write and teach but it will surely come to pass. Jerusalem Temple will be built, Not the Zionists' way neither the Rabbinic Judaism way. It's going to be built the Nazarene Way with Yeshua as the fulfilment of the Torah teachings.
