Food for thought

"when we started Kwararafa Congress, it was regarded as premature because of the political developments of that time. That was the time the north was trying to unite and safeguard itself against southern domination. That was also the time the British people were trying to go away and give Nigeria her self government. We thought our interest will not be safeguarded if the British people left, so we decided to organize a sort of cultural organization that will win the sympathy of those within the Kwararafa region and we will become a factor to reckon with politically...As a result of our activities Sir Ahmadu Bello, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and other northern emirs asked us to suspend the Kwararafa Congress issue to a later time, i.e. to keep it in abeyance and raise it at a subsequent time later..." Bishop Dr. Ibrahim Usman Sangari, Political Adviser to His Eminence Dr. Shekarau Angyu Masa Ibi Kuvyon II Aku Uka of Wukari 1990 to date, Parliamentary secretary 1957-1959, Federal house of Reps. 1955-1959, Chairman National Electric Corporation of Nigeria 1963-1966 in an interview with Relics of Kwararafa (Volume II No 2; February 2003)

Now it's over 50 years since they kept it in abeyance. Should we wait for another 50 years? It's time to dictate to this nation what our cultural heritage demands for a truly "Proudly Nigerian" concept of governance. My conclusion is that if this tribe can subscribe to Loren Cunninghams book, The Book that transforms nations, They will rise.

Just in case you don't know. A King is coming out of Nigeria. Something like the Sovereign Kingdom of Kwararafa or Kwararafa Empire.

To wet your appetite watch the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" and Dr. Myles Munroe's videos on the "Kingdom Principle"
